Peeps

I love peeps, don't you?  They are squishy and tasty and come in pretty colors.  Grandma-ma's favorite color is the shocking pink.  What is your favorite color?

How about Peeps on a stick!

Here are some fun "peep" facts:
  1. Peeps were first made in New York City.
  2. 32 million peeps are made every year.
  3. The average person can eat 5 peeps in one sitting.
  4. That a box of peeps that is more than a year old can still be eaten.
  5. Second only to jelly beans, peeps are the most purchased Easter candy.

Look!  It's the peep mobile.  I think Grampy would look very handsome driving a peep mobile.  Don't you?

Peep cupcakes are very tasty.

It's a bucket of peeps.
Do you know that Aaron and Jason love to freeze their peeps and eat them?  Go ahead, ask them about freezing their peeps.

This is a Easter arrangement that I bet your mommies really like.  It is a vase filled with jelly beans, easter peeps and pretty flowers.

Hope you have a squishy peep Easter my raviolis.  Grandma-ma loves you.

Cookie being tickled.

This is cookie.  Cookie is a baby penguin who lives at the Cincinatti zoo who has a "bumble foot".  His little foot is bandaged and he needs to exercise it every day.  Cookie likes to be tickled as you can see in this video.  Listen to the happy noises he makes.  He tries to sound like the man tickling him.

I think Cookie is very cute.. Do you?  Let's watch the video again and tickle someone you love.  Love Grandma-ma.

Guess who lost a tooth?

You guessed correctly. Sweet Kit Kat Maroo hoo did. Her first tooth.

Did you yank it out?  Did it fall out?  Did daddy help you pull it out?  Please tell us how you lost your first tooth sweet girl.  Did you put your tooth under your pillow in hopes that the tooth fairy left you some money?

My favorite summertime picture of you my 5-cheese ravioli. How much fun we had swimming in the pool chasing down diamonds. Hugs and kisses to you.  Grandma-ma

Grandma-ma's braces update

Hello my raviolis.  Grandma-ma had her third appointment with the dentist.  It is now 63 days since I first had my braces put on my teeth. Look how much they have moved in just 63 days.

Look how straight the wires are becoming.  Grandma-ma is very pleased with the results.  Now, if you look at the next two photos you can really see how much grandma-ma's teeth have moved.  I think this is amazing, don't you?

Can you see the differences between the new photo and these two?  What are the differences?

Here is the first photo of the day my braces were put on.  WOW are those wires crooked.  It is really neat the way this process is working to fix grandma-ma's teeth.  She still has to be careful with what she eats and the inside of my mouth can get sore at times. But it will be worth it to have a pretty smile and healthy teeth.

Love to you all. Grandma-ma

Rubber Ducky, you're the one

you make tea time lots of fun.  Rubber Ducky I'm so awfully fond of you!  Good morning my Friday raviolis.  Grandma-ma is a happy gal, she has a new tea toy to play with.  It's a rubber ducky tea infuser.  A tea infuser holds tea leaves that you drop in a hot cup of water to make tea.

How cute is my new tea ducky?

Look, he has a little duck pond to sit in when he isn't brewing tea for grandma-ma.

Here is the basket that I can put a teabag or tea leaves in.

Grandma-ma just dropped him in the hot water. He is getting ready to right himself up so he can brew tea for me.

Click on this video to watch my tea ducky float in my tea cup.

Okay, now everbody sing...rubber ducky, you're the one.  You make tea time lots of fun.  Rubber Ducky, I'm so awfully fond of you.

Hugs and kisses and rubber ducky squeezes to all of you.  Love grandma-ma

Flat Stanley is on his way back home

Hello my raviolis.  As you know, Flat Stanley came to visit grandma-ma and grampy and we had a wonderful time. He went antiquing, he visited Cisco and Mizuno, he went swimming and he had a pedicure.  He even visited the Varsity...Atlanta's favorite fast food restaurant.

Grandma-ma put all of his adventures in a scrap album and has mailed it off to Mrs. Hazel as she requested. It should arrive at school in a few days.

I can't wait to hear how Kaitlyn's class enjoy reading about Flat Stanley's adventures in Atlanta.

Love, Grandma-ma
